I’m a proud Knox local and I’m incredibly honoured to be your State Labor Member for Bayswater.
I believe we live in the best part of Victoria—that’s why my partner Tash, our son George, and I (along with our Cavoodle Penny) are stoked to call this place home.
Growing up, my childhood wasn’t easy. But I’m proud of where I’ve come from.
Because it’s my experiences growing up around and my exposure to family violence, witnessing substance abuse and spending time in out-of-home care that has shaped the person I am.
And it is what motivated me to serve as a frontline member of Victoria Police and later as a Police Prosecutor.
My personal story is not unique, but it’s why I’m passionate about addressing issues around mental health and family violence.
It’s thanks to the opportunities I was provided by my public education that have, in large part, empowered me to dream big – like so many others, through the great gift of education.
Without those opportunities and the care shown by dedicated teachers, I wouldn’t be where I am today.
I also wouldn’t have had the great privilege of having served as a local Knox Councillor and Deputy Mayor to our amazing community.
And now, as your State Labor MP and your voice in the State Government, I’ve worked with community each and every single day to get things done, to deliver for Knox and to hear from you about what matters most.
Because you deserve nothing less.
That’s what I’ve been honoured to have done these past four years and I’m proud that together, we’ve secured around $500 million in funding for local projects to make Knox an even better place to live and work in.
I’m stoked that we’ve delivered record funding for local schools, hospitals, transport and helped put money back in your pocket and created good jobs.
But there’s more to do…
So if you have an idea or suggestion, or if I can help you in any way, please get in touch.
