We’re excited to open the doors to a bigger, brighter Bayswater Library — designed with the community in mind.

Located just a few doors down from the old site at Shop 43, Mountain High Shopping Centre (behind the escalators), the new library offers:

55% more floor space for everyone to enjoy

Comfortable areas for studying, working, or catching up with friends

Bookable meeting rooms and a large community room for local events

Family-friendly facilities, including change rooms

Fresh new shelves, signage, and a convenient book return chute.

This upgrade means more space, more comfort and more opportunities for our Bayswater community to connect, learn, and grow.

And there’s more to come! A local artist, together with Knox young people, will soon create a welcoming artwork at the library entrance.

The new library has been delivered with the support of the Victorian State Government’s Living Libraries Infrastructure Program.
